Using the Telsmart dashboard

The dashboard is your home page in Telsmart. Here you see at a glance how far along you are with setup, what happened today, and which of your team is online. From here you can also quickly jump to the most important parts of the platform.

Overview of the screen

The screen consists of five parts:

  1. Sidebar (left): navigation to Dashboard, Conversations, Calls, Contacts and, under Workspace, Users, Numbers, Call Flows and eSIM.
  2. Search bar (top): search contacts, companies, teams and calls. Use the shortcut Ctrl+K (on Mac: Cmd+K) to open the search bar directly.
  3. Setup guide: shows how many steps you've already completed, for example "3/5".
  4. Today's key stats: number of calls, missed calls, average duration and pickup rate.
  5. Activity and team: today's activity overview and which team members are online.

Step-by-step

Step 1: Finish the setup

  1. Look at the "Get Telsmart ready in X steps" card at the top.
  2. Click "All steps" to see the full list.
  3. Work through the remaining steps one by one. Once every step is done, you can call with your own number.

Step 2: Place your first call

  1. Go to the "Place your first call" step.
  2. Click "Call the AI receptionist" to start a test call with the AI receptionist.
  3. This shows you how incoming calls are handled, before you let customers call in.

Step 3: Reading the day's stats

The four cards show today's status:

  • Calls today: the total number of calls.
  • Missed today: calls that weren't answered.
  • Avg duration: the average call length.
  • Pickup rate: the share of calls that were answered.

A dash (—) means there's no data yet. That's normal if you haven't called or been called today.

Step 4: Viewing activity and team status

  1. In the "Today's activity" box you see your team's activity as soon as there is any.
  2. Click "View all →" for the full overview.
  3. In the "Team online" box you see which team members are available. A green dot next to the name means that person is online.
  4. Click "Start a conversation" to begin a conversation right away.

Step 5: Switching workspaces

At the bottom of the sidebar is the workspace selector (for example Telsmart Demo, Belgium). Click it to swi
